Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1
After the discovery that Harry Potter left the Freestyle adventure care of his previous games and the abandonment of Hogwarts in the irresistible dark and dangerous world, I thought that it was appropriate to move do for the adult public. Reading the book, I had hoped it would transform that and EA and Brightlight reaching. It is perfectly understandable for Harry Potter take turns making the game more compelling and exciting to play.
To catch players, readers, viewers of the film up to speed, The Deathly Hallows following decision of Harry to discontinue his studies after the death of Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort second rise to power. The Chosen One and his friends Ron and Hermione boarding in a quest for more dangerous to study for their N.E.W.T.s - search for Voldemort remaining Horcruxes. A Horcrux is an object used to store a piece of soul to attain immortality and Voldemort has created many which must be destroyed before may be killed.
Voldemort and the death eaters support, neither wizards nor Muggles is safe for Harry, Ron and Hermione. The game moves mainly between the stealth first person sequences with Harry invisibility cloak and the filming of the third person, but none of them is particularly fun. Harry levels and teaches many spells as Confringo (causes massive explosions) and Petrificus Totalus (charm of body binding), but it is pretty easy to stick to low-but-access quick Stupefy. Spell kind of are classified into weapons, Stupefy being the standard pistol shot while Confundo is your sniper shot.
Although you spells, Harry Armory is not limited to the spells, it can also launch potions as gas Garroting (to make enemies gag), although if it is safe he generally will toss it at his feet instead of its enemies. Death Eaters and thieves drop these potions at random, and you can take those offensive for use in the battle, all potions of health or boost as reinforcing or Felix Felicis (good luck potion) should be consumed immediately. Is not usually a big problem, but it can become really annoying when you're surrounded by death eaters and everything what you can do is pray that one of them will introduce a potion of health.
Towards the end of the game that you will make literally just from one end of a level, shows a kinematic, then head to where you started, fight a combination of thieves, Acromantula Doxies, tome and Death Eaters escape you.
Game design has changed over the years. It has become more realistic and makes it more enjoyable to watch whenever a cinematic occurs. Some actors of the film itself is a voice of wise appearance like Rupert Grint: Ron Weasley, James and Oliver Phelps: Fred and George Weasley, Tom Felton as Malfoy and much more! It certainly has wanting me to play.
For those who have a Wii or Xbox 360, you're lucky! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 is compatible Kinect who, after a few goes with my 8 year old cousin is a very strong piece that can be appreciated by kids even in the age of the game. (not that I recommend)
In short, I think this is a game that can be enjoyed solo and with the family. If this were to be given a number I would put in this:
Presentation-8/10 - the lack of user interface brings attention back in the game, but can make it more difficult and confusing to figure how to choose and use potions.
Graphics-9. 5 / 10 - graphics have evolved over time and they certainly captured the extremely well done characters look fantastic!
Sound-7/10 - expect lots of voice based spells with people shouting Stupefy again and again. The voices grow past that and do everything better.
Gameplay-8,5/10 - while viewing over-the-shoulder is boring and it is difficult to draw spells, moves on with spells and intrigue.
Time overall – 9/10 - a good game to play and get some achievements and pleasure to share with the family.
