Ilomilo: Puzzle Wrapped Inside a Charming Enigma
Ilomilo is a charming puzzle game that slowly but playful fact you feel really stupid.
In this document, you play as Milo (one blue) and the ILO (the Red) and must meet a series of challenges brain teasing them together one.
The game seems fantastic, a series of soft and spongy blocks create vast worlds that twist and turn, and you lose wonderful environments. First impressions are a "little big Planet" Digest.
There are three types of level to choose, each with their own amount worlds within. The game itself is not huge, but the levels are long and often very difficult. If you're like me you're your head office before the end of the first world hit.
Connect the two characters using a number of blocks to create paths and cross bridges. Pressing x toggle between characters, you can view and browse the level of a whole new dimension. The game is teamwork for singletons.
While the only book player multiplayer is a rather bitter disappointment. The first thing that has sprung out of my head when I saw the multiplayer option was "this should be great split screen" because it is assumed that a game like this would be naturally made to split screen, right? Bad.
Instead of this, you are stuck taking tower to Tower moving one character at a time, which essentially just makes a version much slower and more dull single player. There are new things to collect, but levels are identical, so it is not really helpful at the time.
The game runs on as you want, although sometimes shooting can be a bit unresponsive. There is really no huge complaints properly.
As you nicely wobble around each world, you come across more types of block or creatures that make or break you, my favorite be this chap "..."
Apart from being apple's whatevertheyares, you'll find flight bag backpack worms, blocks expansion and cameos from other games that can bring a smile sly participation in your face.
Overall, Ilomilo is bending puzzle game which is not only difficult is disturbing, but disguises treacherously with a cute and bubbly world full of smiles and happiness.
Puzzle game for those concerned about what is the factory racing, it is not. There is much to be done, a lot of gathering and charm will you draw in and keep you there, nestled gently in hot Gypsy hug.
