Infinite blade examination for iPhone

Infinity blade was announced in September, for the iPhone to the Mac world. At the time, it was just a technology demo showing off the coast of the capabilities of epic. Now that it is everyone is surprised that a game with such quality could actually run on an iDevice. It is undoubtedly the best iPhone game appearance in the app store today. Graphically, everything is entirely in 3d with normal mapping, advanced lighting effects and all kinds of technical things that I will never understand. When you play it, you feel that this is something that should be on Station play or the Xbox 360 and yet it runs on the humble iPhone. Infinity blade is a rpg (Role Playing Game) that lets you fight enemies and make your character stronger after you win battles.

For those of you familiar with the genre, most of the RPG start where you have a character on a card, and you need to decide which city to go next to stop the Dark Lord of sting. On how many you random number encounters with enemies more weak basically used to make your character stronger and add hours to an otherwise short adventure. You also have the typical boss sometimes struggle to make things less repetitive. After a lot of grinding beat you the final boss and save Earth trouble. Infinity blade always follows this formula, but they have removed the "boring" rencontres random and discarded element any exploration. Overall quality of the experience was very high, but I felt that it was missing something.

You receive you customize character with different weapons and armor, and you get to choose Statistics level. Combat wise, this is an interesting experience, you must use scans and actions at the right time to strike your opponent. It feels like a game of rhythm with a backdrop of fantasy. Story-Wise is enough public. Evil dude tue thy father now you have to go kill. Overall, I felt grave play because I see role-play continuous further in the direction of wide appeal and ease of use, while leaving the depth of the game. If you have played the role of playing games for several years now you know what I speak.

If you go all the way back to Ultima V 80's role play most games have an extremely complicated to bring gaming experience, but once you figured it out, you were left with a very deep and rewarding gaming experience. This evil role more playing games at the time, it was difficult how they should enter. You need to read a thick manual just to learn to play because most of the actions in the game, about entering commands at the keyboard. But if you get past that you have been a very deep and rewarding experience. Over the years, role-playing game improved interface and accessibility. Especially after the release of Diablo, but as they more appeal to the masses that gradually, they began lose that special something that makes them so rewarding in the first place. Infinity model follows the blade is the ultimate evolution of RPG because it summarizes its core elements, role-playing games like Final Fantasy 13 a. people say they like combat in a RPG developers deliver Infinity blade. People say that they like the story, developers deliver Final Fantasy 13.

My personal belief is that people really want to role playing games isn't history and it is not in Combat. It is to let their creative voices be heard. Is the ability to say "my character is a half witch elf with a low roses bearing peg leg. Ultimately, creativity is the most rewarding experience that you can get a game. This is why games like Mine Craft were so successful. I want to see in the future is more games that focus on let them the user decide on his own adventure and forcing them to use his wits to solve problems. I want to say fighting is still important in RPG but I hope that it won't be the only thing that is.

Closing comments:

Overall, Infinity Blade was simplified experience. Graphically it reached over any application on the iPhone so far. Each still game could almost be made within the portfolio of the artist. Combat is fun, especially when you want something to do while you wait for 5 minutes. Infinity blade goes wrong, is how extremely linear. I would have at least the opportunity to explore a little of the environment. Also though I think that combat swipe interface was interesting, I would have preferred the more traditional dual analog control regime console style. Once again, it is just too linear solid game.

GAMEPLAY

Gesture based gaming is interesting, however, an extremely linear adventure pinches experience.

Good sound quality, nothing memorable here.

Best graphics on the iPhone so far.

ORIGINALITY

Swipe combat is original, but the linear structure of play and the novelty of control fail to impress.

GLOBAL

Infinity blade is one of the best sellers of applications in the app store. This is what people want. Problems is if it weren't for graphics we wouldn't talk about it.
