Phantasmat Review
For many Adventure PC games are held in hotels, particularly run-down scary those as we see in horror movies. Phantasmat is no different as plot any game begins to unravel during your stay at Hotel drowning deaths. And Yes, this is exactly the name of the hotel and no, I think it will really attract many customers with this name.
The game starts with you, the hero, driving a car to the person knows where. After a brief verification of your map, strange images blocked windshield of the car, making the car must on a cliff. Quite strange, you survived this whole ordeal. But after having found yourself in a strange place with people stranger still, makes you wonder if the survivor is a chance.
The game is an adventure of hidden objects, which essentially means that you spend most of your time to look for stuff and meet with key elements, you can use to interact with the obstacles that you encounter along the way. But don't let that annoy you, because even if you absolutely hate hidden object, you have the choice to move all this stress point-conclusion by switching from game 3.
Yes, you heard right, the game is either hidden object or match 3 and the best thing about it is that you choose your genre. Match 3 aims to make all icons of the eye to reach the merits of the Commission. When the eye icons reach the merits of the Commission, 1 point from the list of hidden objects will be found automatically. If you ask me, hidden objects are still best since you get a feeling of the real scene, but I must admit, switching to match 3 allows me to automatically locate the hard to find objects.
History and progress of game is simple, you follow your task list until you pass on the scenario. Most of the time, you can explore areas unrelated to your current task, but you do find anything significant yet until the situation has actually need. This triggers a decline in the already explored areas too, which is kind of silly if you think about it, but not too annoying while the story is very engaging, less likely for you to realize you have been running round and round any place.
Graphics and sounds are top notch. I loved how the game still makes me feel my hair stand on end, even though I know it's just cartoon. Furthermore, game really looking like cartoon, but with camera effects everything that realistic (like how the screen flickers high and the low while you walk) and absolutely fantastic dubbing, developers really made this strange game that they are intended to be. The plot is much too, that I half - expect what will surprise me then as new areas are be unlocked.
Phantasmat is really a pleasure linear adventure game. It's like reading a book tales thriller for hours and hours unable to stop him plot unfolds. It has a unique twist, involving game game 3 on a hidden object adventure that will be loved by players of casual games who are tired traditional point-finding tasks. It deserves to be one of the best adventure available PC games today and I must say is a piece of your game time.
