Is this because of my weight?
But the past two weeks, my knee and back have been killing me.
My back feels like I strained a joint. When it hurts, it doesn't want to move, no due to stiffness and soreness, but because when I move, a sharp, stabbing pain radiates through my entire back, soroing out from my spine. That's in my upperback. My lower back feels like it's in period cramps. It doesn't happen often, usually when I'm at work, and starts anywhere from two days since I worked out, to the day I worked out. If I don't work out for a few days, and I don't work those days, either, going back to work doesn't hurt.
And then there's my knee. I don't know if I told you guys, but I fell down in the parking lot of Wal-Mart. It seems like I might have done more injurty to my knee than the doctor and I thought. It's loose. It slips backward painfully when I don't give it permission to (I am, as they say, "double-jointed" in my knees and elbows). When I try to squat down to clean or pick something up, my knee is wracked with pain. I think I'm going to have to go to a sports thearpist for it. Luckily, my insurance should start soon, if they are even going to help me out here.
So...pain...is this caused by my weight? I've been on my feet for long hours before at this weight, and it's never bothered me. I've worked out hard at this weight before, and it's never bothered me. Oh, and while the workouts may be contribuiting, I'm not overworking there, either. If something is too much, I back off, if something hurts, I stop. But I'm not hurting durning my workouts, and the exercise range is limited enough that I haven't feel like I'm pulling anything. Everything feels controlled. But maybe, my weight is incompasitating me. Maybe my body is weakening. Maybe I'm pushing myself too hard physically. Or maybe I've actually injured something.
Thoughts?
