Here's The Bad News That Goes Along With Jason Garrett's Retention
Same old Jerry (from Todd Archer):
"I just want to move on so we can have the coaching decision out of the way, so we can move on and do what all [we] need to do," Jones said. "We've got a lot of work to do. We've got a lot of personnel decisions to make, and the quicker that I can get this head coaching decision resolved, the earlier that I can get on it."
It's been a disastrous season in which all symptoms point directly back to Jerry Jones. While his mindset back in 2002/03 that led him to at least partially sell his soul (thankfully) to Bill Parcells likely involved an emotion somewhere between concern and a little panic over his then fledgling hopes to build his new shrine/stadium, no one knows exactly how much financial pressure he's under now (especially considering that he spent 2010 trying to collect tens to hundreds of millions of suite debt for a one-year-old stadium - and that was before the season's meltdown).
Regardless of all of that, he appears - at least so far - undeterred in his belief that he is still the man to build this roster.
